Speed Up Facebook access

. Thursday, April 28, 2011

Every time here,in Malaysia, when the internet users having slow access to Facebook or any other sites that are hosted in the US, the word "submarine cables" would popped up. It seems that the submarine cables that carry the broadband signals are so fragile, as we have lot and lot of submarine cables disruption.

I found out from HeHeHunter that one can speed up the connection whenever one experiences slowness in accessing Facebook.

Look for the hosts file located  in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ folder. Then use Notepad to add the following line into the file and then save the file after you do the modification.

static.ak.fbcdn.net www.facebook.com

Now, open Facebook with your favorite browser and enjoy the speed up access.
